Daniel Schwartz Full Professor in the Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University. His research deals with the Second Temple period, and among his books are detailed translations of "The Book of Maccabim" and "The Life of Joseph" by Joseph ben Mattityahu. From 2020 he serves as the academic director of the "Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities". |

Joshua Levinson Professor in the Department of Literature at the Hebrew University. Researches and teaches midrash literature and legend in sage literature. Deals with descriptive poetics of midrash literature as well as travel descriptions in sage writings. |

Pazit Ben-Nun Bloom Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University and Director of the Laboratory for Political Psychology. Her research focuses on the relationship between morality and religion, democrtic values and the exposure of cultural symbols in the public sphere. |

Joseph Witztum Dr. in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Hebrew University. His research deals with the Koran and its interpretation, Hadith literature, pre-Islamic Syriac literature, and incarnations of midrash traditions between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. |
