The present volume presents the English reader with a representative selection of current research into Mishnaic Hebrew by Israeli scholars. Twenty-two articles are included in this collection: two introductory essays, which provide a detailed overview of the modern study of Mishnaic Hebrew, as well as twenty more investigations into specific topics of grammar and lexicon.
