Sara Sviri

Professor Sara Sviri is a world-renowned scholar specializing in Islamic mysticism. Her academic career includes positions at Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, London, and Oxford Universities. Her anthology, "The Sufis: Anthology" (TAU Press, 2008), offers an in-depth exploration of the Sufi tradition. It was also published in Beirut in 2018. Her monograph Perspectives on Early Islamic Mysticism, published in 2020 by Routledge, provides groundbreaking insights into early Islamic mysticism. Her book The Taste of Hidden Things: Images on the Sufi Path, explores experiences on the Sufi path.
