Studies in the Culture of North African Jewry

This book features eight articles written by eight scholars from different universities in Israel. All the articles are based on documents from the Jewish collection of the Yale University Library, New-Haven. The researchers began processing the documents in the workshop held in the library in April 2010 and completed it upon their return to Israel. The documents illuminate different aspects in the halacha, history, practices and interpretation of North-African Jewry.
