Aharon Maman

Aharon Maman holds the Bialik Chair for Hebrew Language at The Hebrew University and is Vice-President of the Academy for Hebrew Language. His research interests span Medieval Hebrew and Hebrew Philology, Genizah studies, and traditional Maghrebian Hebrew and Arabic. Between the years 2000-2011 he was involved in the Friedberg Genizah Project’s activities and was Head of the Research group in Philology. He is the author of two books and approximately 100 scholarly articles, and editor and co-editor of over 30 volumes.
