Prof. Kobi Cohen-Hattab is a lecturer in the Department of Israel Studies and Archeology at Bar-Ilan University. His main research deals with the historical geography of Jerusalem in modern times, modern tourism in Israel, the development of tourism in historical cities and resort town in Israel past and present, holy places and the connection between Zionism and the sea. His book 'The Maritime Revolution: The Yishuv's Hold on the Sea and Shores of the Land of Israel, 1917-1948' was published by Yad Yzhak Ben-Zvi, Jerusalem, 2019.
