Emeritus Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a faculty member at the Mandel Foundation. In recent years, his research and teaching focus on the question of leadership and education for leadership. Served as Chair of the Political Science Department and as the founding Dean of the Federmann School of Public Policy and Governance. He has held senior positions in Israel’s public service. Served as the Director of the Mandel Leadership Center in the North. He has had visiting appointments at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Harvard University.
