Daniel Pekarsky is a professor emeritus in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the former director of the University’s Mosse-Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies. His research focuses on the educational theory of John Dewey, educational ethics, moral growth, and Jewish education. For twenty-five years, he has served as a consultant to the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation.
