Dr. Moshe Helinger is a senior lecturer in the Department of Political Studies at Bar Ilan University. He specializes in Jewish political thought, religious Zionism and Israeli society. He learned at ultra-Orthodox Yeshivot (Yishuv, Hebron and Mir). He earned his bachelor's degree with honors at the Open University and his second and third degrees with honors at Bar Ilan University. Dr Hellinger was the director of various programs such as: The Religious and Secular Dialogue Program at Bar Ilan University, the Schwartz Institute for Ethics, Judaism and State at Beit Morasha, Jerusalem, and was a Research Fellow at the Israeli Democracy Institute. he is lecturing in various frameworks throughout Israel on Israeli society and Jewish and democratic identity.
