Dr. Ido Basuk is a researcher of literature and history, poet and translator. Five books of his poetry have been published, as well as a book of studies on literature Hebrew during the Yishuv period (Akum Prize, 1994). Translates from French and Yiddish fine literature and non-fiction, poetry and prose. His historical research focused on Jewish children and youth in Interwar Poland.
