Ruth Iskin, art historian, faculty member, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev . Teaches the history of art and visual culture in modern times, theory and criticism, and issues of gender, modern and postmodern art. Her book, Modern Women and Parisian Consumer Culture in Impressionist Painting, was published by Cambridge University Press. Her articles were published in the Art Bulletin, Discourse, Nineteenth Century Contexts, catalogs of exhibitions in museums in Europe, and articles published by various publishers.
