Shachar Livne is a PhD Candidate at the Department of General and Comparative Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She specializes in Italian and English poetry of the 14th century. She is an Azrieli Fellow at the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, where she also serves as co-editor of the journal Muza. During her studies, she spent a year in the University of Padua, Italy, focusing on medieval poetics.
