Searching for a Book

Search for a book on the website by typing its title / author / catalogue number in the search bar.

For e-books change the search option to the right of the search bar.

For more search options go to ADVANCED SEARCH or CATEGORIES.

Any result page can be further filtered using the filters on the left.

For more information about a book or viewing pages from inside, click the picture of the cover on the result page.

Placing an Order

1. Sign in

New customers: Register by clicking SIGN IN on the upper bar and then REGISTER. Registration is also possible by proceeding to purchase.

Registered customers: Click SIGN IN and then LOG IN, enter your username (email address) and the password you entered when first registering.
If you do not remember your password click FORGOT PASSWORD? and you will be sent an email with a link for resetting your password.

2. Finding books and adding them to shopping cart

After locating the book(s) you wish to order, click ADD TO CART.
You can either continue to browse through the Magnes website and add more books or place the order by proceeding to your MY CART and then CHECKOUT.

3. Confirming order, delivery options, accepting terms of use

Check that the billing address and shipping address are full and accurate. Add or change details by clicking CHANGE then EDIT. Once finished, click SAVE.

Read the TERMS OF USE and check the box – otherwise you will be unable to proceed to the next stage.

4. Payment

Enter your payment details – credit card number, expiry date and the three digit code at the back of the card. Then click PROCESS.

A confirmation will appear on the screen as well as your order number. Make sure not the click PROCESS twice, and wait a few seconds for the confirmation to appear.

Upon completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your order. If you do not receive an email, please make sure that the email address you entered is correct and check your spam folder.
