Mithabrim: Syntax for Higher Levels is a practice, comprehension and expression booklet on syntax topics. The booklet is intended for advanced students according to the curriculum of the Hebrew Teaching Unit at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The booklet has two purposes. The first of which is the acquisition and practice of syntactic components and structures at the advanced levels. The topics are practiced in several ways: open exercises, closed exercises, conversions, rewrites. Some of the grammatical topics are preceded by a short grammatical explanation for that section, and at the end of the booklet there are tables related to the syntactic topics as well as solutions to the closed exercises.

The second goal of Mithabrim is to cultivate students' comprehension and expression skills with the help of reading passages (essays, articles, etc.). The reading sections, which incorporate the new syntactic topic, deal with different and diverse contents. This is the infrastructure for the activity of reading comprehension and the activity of oral or written expression. For each section, both comprehension questions that relate to the content of the section and expression questions that encourage discussion and conversation on the topic have been added.
